Has anyone been on holiday in the last trimester ? I'm looking at 4 days away on a 2 hour flight ? How did you cope on airplane ?

I doubt the airlines will let you fly?

It's a long way to go when you're in your third trimester, if anything were to happen would you really want to be in s foreign country?

Yep. And I’ve just had my baby six days after coming home, at 35 weeks. Had a great hol but did end up going to hosp for monitoring and with hindsight it was just a bit late to travel. The flight itself was no problem, the travelling overall was very tiring. I had an EHIC card and insurance (but not to cover anything post birth). DH is fluent in the language and we had free accommodation, which is why we went.

I did. You can usually fly up to 36 weeks. It was fine. Just make sure you're never too far away from a loo! Also make sure you have insurance that covers maternity and bring your notes. I also asked my midwife for a letter saying when I was due and that I was for to fly, but airline didn't ask for it.

Flew easyjet btw, and had a fit to fly letter from my GP, though no one ever asked for it.
