Hey guys,

I'm pregnant with my first, 12 weeks today, when do people start to show, I'm guess everyone is different, I think I'm starting to show!
What's everyone else thoughts anyone showing or know from previous pregnancies?

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and am definitely looking pregnant without clothes on, with clothes on I still look like I’ve eaten more than my fair share of pies 😂

user1906 · 30/06/2018 21:23

I started to show at 18 weeks with my first (am 25 weeks now) i was told at my scan that im carrying lots of fluid which has made me look bigger. Im only a size 10 usually and 5ft 3.

Everyone is different though!

WooYa · 30/06/2018 21:30

I had a tiny belly at around 14 weeks but just looked a bit fat until 18 weeks Hmm

isthismummy · 01/07/2018 07:38

I started to get a bump at 20 weeks with twins. I’m now 27+3 and a lot of people still don’t realise I’m pregnantConfused I went to buy baby clothes last week and two separate shop assistants asked who I was buying the clothes for!

It’s starting to piss me off tbh. I’ve read that pregnant women get fussed over and asked a million questions daily...not me!

GinGeum · 01/07/2018 07:46

Bloating is making me look 6 months pregnant already! I’m also 12 weeks today and worried about fitting into my wedding dress next week

hoping2018 · 01/07/2018 15:10

I haven't fitted into my clothes since the day I got bfp! (But it's an ivf pregnancy) awkward as I don't want to buy clothes until I'm 12 weeks and only 9 currently!

tracey31 · 01/07/2018 17:23

I am already showing and I am 10 weeks today Smile

TheWanderlust · 01/07/2018 17:52

I'm so bloated at the moment. Hoping it will go down soon as really don't want to be showing for another month or so if I can help it.

@GinGeum .... Eeeeeks. How are you contending with a wedding and pregnancy all at once?? 😅

SirHubzALot · 01/07/2018 17:59

I'm 24 weeks and could still pass for having just eaten a large meal

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 01/07/2018 18:03

I have full on bloat at the moment... 7 weeks and could pass for a small 7 months at the end of a long day 😩

Can’t wait for the bloat to go and a proper baby bump be in its place (in a few months!). Right now though.. I need to find comfy clothes that fit and will hide me a bit, don’t want to tell anyone for another month at least!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 01/07/2018 18:05

This is my gut laying down at the moment... how am I meant to fit that into size 10 skinny jeans?!

Rtmhwales · 01/07/2018 18:07

I started to show without clothes around 24weeks and at 31W6D I gave birth and still wasn’t showing in clothes. Was a bit of a shock to my work as I wasn’t telling them I was pregnant until 32weeks, whoops, and had to call in and say I’d had a baby instead. I’m a size 2/4 and he was my first.

TheWanderlust · 01/07/2018 18:35

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking I feel your pain. I'm on exactly the same boat. Going to run out of clothes that fit fairly soon 🤦🏼‍♀️

goatsgalore · 01/07/2018 18:46

8wk in an IVF pregnancy and ridiculously bloated! It hurts on the evenings. I'm sticking with shirt dresses to try and conceal my food/bloat baby

GinGeum · 01/07/2018 19:29

Wander they seem to be complimenting each other at the moment - I’m too knackered to stress about minor wedding details, but the wedding planning is keeping me distracted from stressing over pregnancy symptoms Wink

Although I am concerned about fainting/throwing up at the altar!

DLWxx · 01/07/2018 21:01

Thanks guys, all very helpful, maybe I'm just bloated or just putting weight on, hopefully baby weight, just feel so horrible right now, being summer dosnt help at all x

Good Luck @GinGeum , sounds like you've got the balance just right.

fainting at the alter is never advisable 😅 you'll have to keep us posted with how the big day goes x
