Just wondering what everyone found to be the best? Comfy and non see through? New look boohoo and Asos seem to come up a lot on google. Thanks!

I bought mine from asda in the end and had no problems. Avoid M&S, developed a hole within a few weeks and lost their elasticity.

ASOS ones bought in 2015/2016 are bloody brilliant. I may not have stopped wearing them (back to front!!), as they are so comfortable! They have worn incredibly well. Just started wearing them the proper way around for second pregnancy. Lovely and soft and thick and nice and long in the leg.

Can't comment on the quality of their current stock though, and they don't do the same ones anymore (used to do three packs of all black or mixed pack of black/navy/grey) unfortunately. I'm going to take a punt on some new ones soon as need a few extra pairs.

I swear by Isabella Oliver treggings - they’re a lot thicker and a bit more structured than leggings but they are the comfiest things ever even postnatally

Drchinnery · 29/06/2018 10:59

New look maternity! They do a 2 pack. I lived in mine and I still do Not see through, nice high waist so doesn't dig in your bump, really soft and they dont go baggy at the knees!

ReggaetonLente · 29/06/2018 11:01

Mine are from gap and are the comfiest, loveliest leggings I’ve ever owned! I think they’re the pure body maternity ones

Drchinnery · 29/06/2018 11:01

Pressed send too soon Asda I found went baggy at the knees and H and M were just not comfortable

MagicFajita · 29/06/2018 11:02

Up to about 25-30 weeks you can normally get away with normal leggings, they will be
ruined for post baby wear though. After that I found Debenham £12 ones to be good.

letsallhaveanap · 29/06/2018 11:05

I just wore larger sizes of normal leggings.... so was a size 12 but just bought a load of size 16s and they were fine right up until the end!
But I have quite large thighs anyway.... I think if you had very slender legs and a massive bump it might not work... but if you have a pear shaped body normal leggings will work
I had one pair of maternity leggings and I found them very uncomfortable compared to normal ones

PenguinJS · 29/06/2018 11:05

I agree with New Look ones. They came in very handy for the first few weeks after birth too - very comfy

SiolGhoraidh · 29/06/2018 12:46

I've just bought a load of Primark viscose leggings two sizes up from normal. I'm 29 weeks and they pull right up over the bump. I think I could get twins in here!

eyesontheprize57 · 29/06/2018 12:50

H&M ones are very good too, particularly if you are a bit taller. Ive got a few pairs and they are so comfy and wash very well.

unicornchaser · 29/06/2018 22:47

I'm 24 weeks just now and got a few pairs of high waist leggings from new look and Dorothy Perkins. Super comfy and come up high enough for now. May need to branch out to maternity ones when bump gets much bigger but for now I'm pretty much living in these ones!

Angharad07 · 30/06/2018 08:49

I have some normal leggings (in bigger size) from Tesco and so far very comfy. I only have a small bump at the moment though. I bought some maternity ones from Boohoo and haven’t tried them but they look quite thin/ cheap. In fact, all the maternity clothes I got from Boohoo have cheap material and probably aren’t as comfortable as other brands, but that’s what you get for the price.

HeresMeh · 30/06/2018 08:53

Dorothy Perkins 'over bump' ones are lush!

mintich · 30/06/2018 08:53

ASOS

weeklywoo · 30/06/2018 09:15

I have tried a few and Dorothy Perkins ones are really lovely. Nice and thick, still nice and black (unlike my asda ones which are going see through and grey Hmm), good long length, and most importantly very comfortable over the bump!

Lozxx · 30/06/2018 09:18

I brought new look ones, they were amazing and so comfy. Went over bump perfectly :)

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 30/06/2018 09:26

I like the ASOS and H&M ones. The New look ones are comfy but not as soft and they go a bit baggy at the knees after a while.

violet0805 · 30/06/2018 09:33

Not maternity, but I swear by Primark viscose leggings! About £2.80 a pair and the nicest I've had. Not see through at all and come up quite high so would easily go over a baby bump. I've got about 10 pairs and live in them. Wash up lovely and I tumble dry mine and they don't shrink at all (p.s I don't work for Primark! Grin)

babydreamer1 · 30/06/2018 09:34

Jojo Maman cotton leggings, so thick and comfy and never see through. www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/comfy-cotton-rich-maternity-leggings-a9845.html

Kt2108 · 30/06/2018 23:18

So many recommendations!! Thanks everyone. Don't wear them usual so have no clue at the stage where I don't think regular ones would fit my bump in and I have skinny ankles so not sure a large size will work. Asos seem to be popular! 😌😌
