haemorrhoids

Am I in the clear? When did these appear for you?

I do have dry flaky nipples, itchy boobs, various other itchy patches, dry skin, lack of sleep, sore hips from sleeping on my side, constant stuffy nose, recurrent thrush - so I'm not having a charmed pregnancy!

When you get to week 40 (or even week 42) do report back with an update on all the above then!!

Fortunately pregnancy does not seem to involve every possible symptom, though it feels like it at times. You can definitely expect to collect one or two more before you deliver though.

And you forgot to mention pregnancy acne, carpal tunnel syndrome, heartburn, sciatica, breathlessness, Braxton hicks, mood swings....

I'm the same at 35 weeks (with the exception of darker nipples!), but will join you with the recurring thrush the whole way through pregnancy.

Sure I have a few more of them in store for my final few weeks.

Do you have frequent and large bogies though?

Oh and earlier on I had random long facial hairs.

I didn't say I didn't have anything, these are just the ones I don't have that I have been waiting for. Just wondering when they appeared for other people so I don't start celebrating too soon (maybe I put my post in the wrong order...).

@BlueBug45 yes, usually full of blood too, yuk. I was trying to skirt around it with 'stuffy nose'!

Plenty of Braxton Hicks, some mood swings, heartburn, mild breathlessness so far... oh and lots of gas (up and down!), hairy belly , the list of things I do have goes on

Don't hold your breath on stretch marks, I got some in the days following giving birth...

I thought I was fairly up on pregnancy symptoms but the hairy belly came as a complete surprise - no one had ever mentioned I might grow a fine coat of fur!

I didn't get anything apart from heartburn at 32 weeks.

I’m on my third pregnancy and so far have never had any of those symptoms. Plenty of other symptoms, but not those!

Of your list, the only ones I got in 42 weeks of pregnancy with huuuge baby were dark nipples and swollen feet.

Am now, however, the proud owner of...

Permanently wonky boobs (at least 1 cup size difference)

Episiotomy scar that extends well across one bumcheek

2 sorts of pelvic organ prolapse

Weird bellybutton.

So enjoy, but don’t get complacent

Spd started on my second pregnancy at 29 weeks.
Stretch marks didn't appear until after the birth of my first when the skin was going back to normal.
Heartburn didn't get until my 3rd pregnancy but early on maybe about 7 weeks.
Swelling happened on first and second pregnancy after birth never before.

Incontinence boobs hemmoroids and veins touch wood none for me so far. But never say never.

Oh yeah, I have got a permanently weird belly button!

No cravings or hormonal mood swings so far (also 26 weeks). Had constipation in the first trimester but not since. No swelling anywhere.

My nipples are mad though and have been pretty much since conception. Brown, patchy, always changing shape and size. And the big boogers.

I had nothing at all at that stage either, but it all went to shit later. Enjoy.

I didn't have anything including a bump til I got to 30/33 weeks ... Didn't even believe I was pregnant half the time.

I didn't get stretch marks until 32 weeks with my first but I got plenty from then on. You'll probably find your boobs expand (and get heavy) after you have the baby when your milk comes in. I also didn't get pgp until late in pregnancy, getting it earlier second time round. As long as you're pregnant you're definitely not in the clear for side effects.

I didn't get stretch marks with my first pregnancy but did with my second and even then i only got them in the last week of my pregnancy :( so still plenty of time to get them.

Im on my 4th pregnancy and have never had any of the other symptoms you listed. But everyone is different and every pregnancy is different so you never know if/when they'll appear.

41 weeks came the stretch mark explosion for me despite using every cream under the sun to try and prevent them

You are definitely not in the clear at 26 weeks!

For me:
stretch marks (although I have loads from my teens/early 20s) - week 39 when the baby engaged. Friends also got them just before the end
urinary incontinence - I never got this but friends who did got it very late on
PGP/SPD - around week 32
constipation (as long as I stay hydrated and eat a healthy diet) - I never got this but friends got it late on when baby compressed digestive system (and I got other symptoms of compression)
swelling - I never got this
significantly bigger boobs (but I was a 34FF to start with) - I did get this before 26 weeks, had all my pregnancy growth by 14 weeks, but a good deal of the growth comes after your milk comes in, so after birth
darker nipples or any other darker patches - I did get this by the end of the first trimester, but darker patches increased as pregnancy went on
varicose veins - I got at around 30 weeks
haemorrhoids - I got at around 30 weeks

Good luck! One thing I have learned is that you are never out of the woods in pregnancy, every time I congratulated myself on not having a symptom/a symptom disappearing it was there with gusto within a week...

27 weeks today with first baby. From your list I have:

Slight incontinence I wet myself when I throw up
PGP: sore feeling between my legs and lower back pains.
Swelling: my feet are ready to explode at the end of the day, but that's largely due to being on my feet a lot and the hot weather
Bigger boobs: went from 34HH to 36J so starting off big doesn't seem to have made a difference
Nipples: weird brown colour, flaky, the lot
Varicose veins: have even more spider veins than before
Haemorrhoids: not yet!

Have also been feeling sick every day since 4+4...

38 weeks and so far no stretch marks, varicose veins, constipation or urinary incontinence. Touch wood.
Disconcerting to hear about people being affected so late on.
@mumofmunchkin - stretch marks after giving birth!! That takes the biscuit..

Well it's good to know it's possible to avoid the lot but I won't count my blessings just yet then 😏 my sympathies to everyone already having to deal with some of the less pleasant aspects!

I’m 31 weeks and have none of them apart from massive boobs, but that happened at about 4 weeks (went from a 28E to a 32GG). I thought I was going to get SPD at about 17 weeks but changed my exercise routine a bit and have held it off. I had massively bad constipation early on due to ondansetron but am fine now.

I do however have horrendous reoccurring thrush, a sore/burning sensation at the top of my bump (wherever his head is), leaky boobs, itchy bump, horrible heartburn that no amount of ranitidine and gaviscon will cute and just generally feel like a massive lumbering whale 😂
