Hello,
I just wanted to ask if any of you are 24 weeks or similar and how often do you go to pee? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I’m 24 weeks and I literally sit down to pee, then get up and 5minutes LITERALLY 5 Minutes later I feel like my bladder is full and I need to pee ASAP. Does anyone experienced the same and is it normal?
It doesn’t happen all the time but it happens some evenings like today... but I’ve been okay all day and just now this is going on... been toilet 5 times in the last 15minutes probably šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Yes mine started about that stage too, it’s no easier now I’m at 31 weeks! It may have gotten worse as now sometimes I leak wee even after using the toilet and emptying my bladder. Have had to start bringing extra pads and pants to work just in case it gets too much! It’s not all the time as you have said. I saw the doctor about it and they said it’s perfectly normal. My baby’s head down and at my last scan they said his head is cushioned right on my bladder.
You can do exercises to strengthen the muscles down there but tbh I always forget !

I'm only 20 weeks but this has started for me recently too. I've always been a frequent pee-er but this is a whole other level. It comes and goes though and so I wonder if it's to do with where the baby is sitting. Sometimes I lie down and am fine, then turn over and desperately need the toilet!

I had this at 24-5 weeks. I think I had a bit of a UTI, so drank loads of water. It has gotten better now at 27 weeks, but you need to get doing your pelvic floor exercises to help. There’s an app called squeezy that my Physio recommended.

I have it too at almost 22 weeks and realise it is only going to get worse. For example I currently only wake up once or twice the though the night to pee but I know from previous experience that will soon become once every hour or two. Ahh the joys..

I'm getting the same at 29 weeks, because the baby has turned round and his head is right down against my bladder.

I tend to sit for a moment or two after going, to make sure that I don't need to go again/it's fully empty. I also try and sip water throughout the day rather than chugging lots at once.

Pelvic floor exercises definitely help, as does consciously tightening everything before a sneeze/cough/laugh. I have alarms set on my phone to remind me to do my exercises 3x a day.
