Third pregnancy. Two vaginal births previously, one induced with back labour and a second degree tear at 9lb9oz. One spontaneous home birth, no tear, retained placenta and manual hospital removal with a spinal 9lb2oz.

30 weeks pregnant with another large baby on 95th centile at 28 weeks. Continually measuring bigger fundal height wise but another growth scan at 34 weeks to check.

I want an elective caesarean this time around. DC2's birth was horrendous for the manual placental removal. I am now wearing Tena Lady constantly at 30 years old as even though I'm religious with kegals, I can't sneeze or cough without urine leakage. With another seemingly large baby, I can't do it anymore.

I have a high bmi so consultant led but no other health issues or pregnancy issues. DC's are older so no running around after a toddler this time. No consultant appointment until 36 weeks so who do I discuss a cesarean with? Do I have grounds under the NHS? Can my midwife get me a consultant appointment sooner? It's all so confusing and I'm a bit scared!
