I'm 7w pregnant and had an early scan yesterday which showed 2 sacs & 2 tiny heartbeats 💗 💙 I'm excited but also in total shock as I have a 9m old DS and a 3.5yr old DD! How will I cope?!

The logistics seem crazy, how will I ever get out the house with 4 children under the age of 5 of which 3 will be under 2!?! Anyone had similar and survived?!?

Its completely survivable hun. My sister has a 5 year old a 3 year old and 2 year old twins. There's literally 13 months between the twins and her 3 year old. It was hectic at the start but she gets out and she does so well. She also has an 8 year old too. Morning are a rush between school runs nursery and pre school but she does well. Her routines seem to save her lol. Good luck hun

You will.
Yes, its tough at the time but as they get older you will reap the rewards. You learn to be very organised and routine driven. A spare sports kit, loose change and swim bag always in the car always saved the day.

I don't have twins but I had 4 under 5.

Routine and preparation is key.

To be honest I loved it.

Give me 4 little ones over 4 moody pre/teens any day!

Yikes!
Oh and congratulations!
You'll survive... you'll crack up and break a fair few times, as we all do, regardless of how many children we have and the age gaps in between.
Your love will see you through and the joy of having all of these gorgeous children around you will trump the hardship of those tough days and nights in between! You'll do it and you'll revel in the love.
Goodness how exciting! I bet you didn't know whether to smile from here to eternity or run down the corridor tearing your hair out when you discovered twins on the monitor! Grin
Congratulations again! Flowers

I have 2 year old twins and 21 weeks with a singleton ❤️

Really recommend some of the twin mum groups on Facebook, lots of people on there have older children

Thanks for your reassurance everyone, It just seems so unimaginable at the moment but then it's still early days as I'm only 6-7 weeks so I've got plenty of time to get my head around it!

Need to work on getting DS in a routine now so it's well established by the time the babies arrive!!
