Just for fun - Babies heart rate - boy or girl?

Anyone had any accuracy in the old wives tale of boy vs girl heart rate?

The saying goes 140 Girl - after 20 weeks pregnant only.

Pulse was 154 today, i'm 25 weeks and having a surprise!

Depends if the baby was active during the auscultation. My prediction active boy or otherwise a girl 😊

Apparently if it sounds like a horse, it's a girl. If it sounds like a train, it's a boy. No idea if that's true or not!

No science, no! My midwife seemed keen to point out what nonsense it is

Every time my midwife listened to me she said it's a boy is it, I didn't know. Every time she'd say it. He is a girl

Twins here. Heart rate measured 2 or 3 times. 1 was always about 145-150, one was always about 120. Had a girl & a boy!

My baby has consistently had heartrate of over 160 and I've been scanned 6 times at 26 weeks due to my own health issues. I have been told at the last two scans that's she's a she. So barring any surprises, it held up in my case . I do think it's nonsense though.

My girls heartbeat was very fast and sounded like a horse

I spent the last 7 weeks in hospital having heart beat monitored every day along with other women. Ds heartbeat was sometimes 150 and sometimes 120.
Dont think it was right for anyone.

I was convinced I was carrying a boy, heart rate was 162 which made me briefly suspect girl but turns out it is indeed a boy! So the heart rate thing was just an old wives tale and not right for me at all

Ahhh... Overall not sounding too convincing then!

Heartbeat was 148 at my last appointment and I was gutted it had spoiled the surprise- good to know it’s not accurate
