Evaporation line? Positive? Negative? Confused!

Im 2 days late for my period . Took a test and there is a white line where the positive line would be? What does it mean?

It's negative. Positive tests have colour to them.

It looks a bit like a smudged line but something has gone wrong for sure so re-test. Fingers crossed you get the result you want!

That actually looks quite similar to the first test I did. The line is really close to the control line. I’d retest just to be sure
