Suitable paint for pregnant women

Hia

This has probably been posted about before but I can’t find it.

I want to do some painting before the baby comes, but I’ve read some paints aren’t suitable for pregnant women to use. Does anyone know what paint is suitable and where I can get it?

We used little green paint to decorate several times - not sure about pregnancy, but it definitely doesn't have that strong smell that most other paints do, and I think the VOC is lower.

Open the windows and you'll be fine. I renovated a house whilst pregnant, no ill effects.

I'm renovating another house now and when we get to painting stage, I'll just pick a paint i like.

I do not time house buying and baby making well!

I painted almost a whole house and several pieces of furniture whilst pregnant. I just used normal paint but made sure the rooms were very well ventilated and took regular breaks.

We’re just painting with lakeland paints and you can’t smell a thing! From my research i think it is considered one of the ‘greenest’ paints.
