Have I miscarried?

Hi everyone

Apologies in advance if this is TMI, it's just something i've never experienced before.

So I didn't plan to be pregnant and didn't know/think I was until last night after having a really heavy bright red period for the last week I think I miscarried. I've passed blood clots before but it didn't look like a normal one, it was slightly larger than the size of a bottle top, and when I had a poke round there were different colours to it. Parts looked dark red like a blood clot but then others were a light pink basically fleshy colour. I've been having odd period pains which feel more like a normal stomach ache but a lot lower down.

I've never had anything like this before so don't know if i'm just over thinking but I don't know what else it could be? I had unprotected sex once about 7 weeks ago but got the morning after pill the next day, however was horribly sick that night although it had been more than 12 hours so I thought it was okay, and i've been on the pill ever since.

I've got a doctors appointment booked to see whats going on, but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi there,

I have no idea in all fairness... however when you go and see the doctor they should be able to give you some insight hopefully.

Was you late for your period?

When I mc at 8weeks the tissue had a blue tinge.
And it was actually a complete tiny foetus though some mc can be lots of pieces of tissue.
Sad
An hpt would likely still get a bfp if you were pregnant.
One way to know for sure...

I have PCOS so my periods have always been irregular.
Thinking about it now, the day I got the morning after pill was when I got my first pack of contraceptive pills too (we'd been using condoms before then) but I had to wait about 2 weeks to start taking them as you're supposed to take it on your first day of your period, however that period was very light and only lasted 2 days. Its not common for me but I have had periods like that before. Maybe that is a factor?

Sounds like a possibility.
I got pregnant, and went on to have had a miscarriage, after taking the MAP. It doesn't always work.
If you were pregnant you will probably still have some residual HCG in your system, so if you want to know you could take a test ASAP.

My miscarriage I passed things that were large clots and also what was definitely tissue/different to clots.
