Tell the person doing the X ray and ask them. This isn't something you should crowdsource from the internet, especially when you're in a place full of actual medical professionals!

Tell the doctors and x Ray technician about your pregnancy. They will be better able to advise on your particular circumstances than us. I think they can give you a lead apron to protect your pregnancy but I might be mistaken.

Do they know you're pregnant? If not TELL THEM.

It depends on the reason for the xray but if they know that you're pregnant then they will have risk assessed.

If it's not directly to your abdomen then you'll be protected by the lead apron.

Been on this position, highly doubt they will x ray you they sent me home

Personally, I wouldn’t. I would either wait til much much later in the pregnancy or after the baby is born if possible.

Namechange128 · 27/06/2018 10:17

They'll tell you, they see this all the time.

I was refused a dental X-ray.

Any time I have had to have an X-ray or be present with dd they have always asked if there's any chance I could be pregnant.

I had a knee x ray at 5 weeks and they put the heavy lead blanket over my stomach. Tell them, they can make the call
