Really sore ribs!

39+3 and I can’t sit on a chair for long because my right side ribs are sooooo sore! This is not good because I am still at work for another week and I work in an office! (And yes, i’m aware that my dates don’t stack up, my dates are a couple of days out and we have issues with holidays, resignations and my maternity leave!)
Any suggestions?!

Is it baby? My book has a few suggestions:

  1. Take a deep breath while raising one arm over your head, then exhale while you drop your arm. Repeat this movement a few times with each arm.
  2. It is also quite safe to gently push baby's feet or bottom away from the painful side.
3.You can also try this stretch: Get down on your hands and knees with your back relaxed but not sagging. Keeping your head straight and your neck aligned with your spine, round your back upward toward the ceiling, allowing your head to drop all the way down. Gradually release your back and raise head to the original position. Repeat several times.

Let me know if any of them work...

I had that on my right side it was his feet. I used to put my hand just below the sore bit so the pressure was on my hand instead. Moving around does help a bit and sometimes when really desperate I pushed his feet down!
