When did you ladies experience braxton hicks? I'm 25 weeks and just curious ☺️

I’ve been getting them from 26 weeks.. not painful just uncomfortable x

Bluebirdsky · 26/06/2018 23:29

It's my first baby and I didn't notice any until I was 37 weeks

jaychops · 27/06/2018 07:16

22 weeks with my first for me, and had lots until my daughter was born at 39 weeks.

This time, I'm 17 weeks and I'm sure I'm getting them already. I recognise that uncomfortable feeling! Although if I wasn't familiar, I wouldn't have realised.

I'll be 37 weeks on Friday with my first baby.

Don't think I've had any yet.

33 weeks now with second baby and getting them - totally forgot about these but knew what they were instantly

TinyTerror1 · 27/06/2018 07:35

Think I've been having them since about 22 weeks. Only notice them if I'm trying to walk when they come on.

JustVent · 27/06/2018 07:40

14 weeks but this is my 4th pregnancy.

Eggoispreggo · 27/06/2018 08:07

I'm 40+1 today and I literally have no idea what they feel like!! I assume I've had them as apparently everyone does, but I must just not notice them when they happen?

coffeeplastic · 27/06/2018 08:29

I've been wondering if I had this last night but I'm not completely sure what they feel like so I can't be certain?

I'm 27 weeks and (like every night) was lying in bed feeling her do her little nightly shuffle, and then it sort of felt like she was rolling at the front of my belly, but then as if she stayed there, and my bump went really hard for a while. Wondering if the rolling feeling was actually muscles contracting? Was different to her usual kicks but that might not mean Braxton Hicks, she might just be getting bigger!

Does anyone know if this sounds like it?

laurG · 27/06/2018 09:10

For me they start as a spasm in the back that moves round the front of the belly. Belly feels really tight. They can be quite painful tbh but that’s no necessarily typical.

im 38+2 and genuinely dont think i have had any!

Iv had tightening in my tummy but i just assumed it was baby pressing against me! x
