Hi sorry for the horrific post but I think I have developed hemorrhoids, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and have not had any bouts of constipation at all or any prolonged straining so I'm shocked to have discovered this! Any tips before I have to shamefully make my way to the doctor 😂

I have minor ones I think

Told the lovely midwife, she said fibre, lots of water and pelvic floor exercise 👍🏻haven't had any blood (sorry tmi) since I've seen her

I recently developed small ones too Blush I bought some germaloid cream from Sainsbury’s with my weekly shop. Applied twice a day and they went in less than a week.

No straining or constipation here either

Yeah I think these are very minor. I had to google what they looked like 😂

PREP H wipes are good and just make sure any ointment you get is safe for pregnancy so via chemist check etc.

Hydrate and lots of fibre etc

I'm 36 weeks Pregnant and I've had them on and off for months now.

It totally sucks but it is what it is.

They have periods where they start to get better and then I'll have a dodgy bowel movement and I'm back to square one with them.

I use anusol cream and that helps when they get painful and constantly applying it slowly shrinks them.

I'm not going to bother going to the Doctors until after I've given birth because I imagine labour will just worsen them. All that pushing, iykwim.

So if they have cleared by themselves after a few months once I've delivered then I'll get to the Doctors.
