Hi all... just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant after a MMC in jan.
Obviously Cos of what happened last time I'm very worried & panicky.
I'm 5 weeks today but apart from the obvious missed period & slightly tender nipples I don't have any other symptoms... is this normal?

Congratulations! My sickness and tiredness started about 6-7 weeks. I also found out at 5 weeks and almost wanted some symptoms to “feel” pregnant. Also some women don’t get too much in the way of symptoms so don’t worry if they don’t appear.

Yep completely normal try not to panic and take each day as it comes. I am sorry you had a mmc. I too had one in Feb 2017 at 10 weeks. I had no symptoms. I am now 18 weeks with a very healthy baby and I have again had no symptoms. I think my body just knows how to cope with the hormonal changes. The only thing I've had is extreme tiredness. And that kicked in at around week 7. Focus on today, take each day as they come and try not to forward think too much at this stage. An early private scan at 8 weeks gave us lots of reassurance as we saw a little baby!! (Not a blob) congratulations. Xxx

Thanks for your replies! I'm trying to relax but it's very hard.... I'm so happy to hear some of you got symptoms later on. Is it wierd I just want to feel sick/throw up lol?!!

We are booking an 8 week scan very soon! So keeping everything crossed! Thanks so much xxx

I didn't get any major symptoms until around 8 weeks so don't fret. Easier said than done though- after 2 non-consecutive losses I was a nervous wreck from start to finish for both successful pregnancies. Good luck x

Hello! I'm 9 weeks today. I felt the same at 5 weeks, worried something was wrong. I didn't start getting nausea until the 6 week mark and have had it ever since! Enjoy it whilst you can lol and congratulations! X

Thanks all... it's so hard to not panic & google every little thing isn't it.
Would you say a early scan is a good thing to reassure? Very mixed reviews on internet! X

@aj1617 im currently 8+5 and the sick feeling only really started plus 6 weeks. Even then it can come and go and is usually a sign I need to eat something. I also had a MC previously so understand your anxieties.

Regarding a private scan if you feel it will help then do it but I wouldn't book it until your at a minimum 8 weeks.

Great thank you.
I Randomly had a really bad tummy/poo's last night... just put it down to us being away in Cyprus... but it only lasted around an hour & I feel fine today so maybe it's down to the pregnancy.
We are booking a scan for the weekend of which we will turn 8 week. Just keeping everything crossed 🙏🏼

I think an early scan is a good idea if you're past 8 weeks! I had one due to pain at 5 weeks and they couldn't see anything so obviously caused worry! At 6/7 weeks they saw a little heartbeat!Smile
