What did you feel like before labour?

What happened before labour for you? I already have a DD, planned c section at 37+5 for her for being breech and small. I am now exactly 36 weeks with Dd2. Ment to be having another planned c section at about 39 weeks. Date not been set yet. I have woken up this morning and have sickness and diarrhoea. Odd pain in my back but not sure if that is baby moving. Her movements have been a bit painful as she feels fairly low down. I know it could just be a bug but google has me worried.

I was emotional. No other signs until a period pain, that started to come and go then I realised it was a contraction!

They are common signs of labour. I just slept.

I had a lot of the symptoms you are describing at 36 weeks but still pregnant at 39+2
If you are worried I would give the midwife or hospital a call for some advice. They might have you in and check you over.

If it gets worse will defiently ring the midwife. Not had any contractions. I am very tired but thought the heat would be causing that. My MIL keeps saying she thinks she will come early too so think thats worried me a bit lol. Bump hasn't dropped that much. Thank you ladies x

I am also taking 75mg of aspirin so if i did go in to labour, my notes say c section still. Would they do one whilst its in my system?

Back ache
HIGHLY emotional
Irritable beyond belief
Sudden urge to hoover/tidy up

I gave birth approx 4-6 hours after these symptoms started.... my recorded active labour was 36 MINUTES!
