Hi everyone,

I’m not sure what’s going on with my body as of the last 6 weeks, but I’m hoping that I may be pregnant.

Since 22nd May (I believe this to be the day I conceived, if I am indeed pregnant), I’ve been feeling nauseous, tired (to the point where I need to have an afternoon nap, which I never used to do), bloating of the lower abdomen, severe mood swings, tender breasts, frequent peeing and also pooing (sorry for the TMI!). I also have a chronic nerve condition (small fibre peripheral neuropathy) which I have noticed worsens when my hormones fluctuate, and recently the pain I get from the condition has worsened (more in the last 10 days).
From 10th June - 12th June I had what I initially thought was my period, which was 3 days early, but I now think it may have been implantation bleeding as the blood was more pink and brown but it was also not as heavy as my normal period. It did however contain the odd clot (not large ones, but more brown in colour) and the bleeding was still heavyish (I used around 2-3 pads) but I’ve never had a period which only lasted 3 days, and I mean never! Since then I’ve taken numerous pregnancy tests (one every couple of days) but all have come back negative. Could it be that my hcg is just too low? I’m so confused at the moment as I am still experiencing all the above symptoms (especially the nausea), but more so in the last 10 days. My lower abdomen doesn’t feel like it normally does either. It constantly feels like it’s being stretched in all directions. I’ve also been experiencing bouts of anger. It comes on suddenly, lasting a few minutes to an hour and I have no idea what’s causing it. I can go from being angry one minute to feeling happy the next, to then crying my eyes out over absolutely nothing!
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Has anyone got any suggestions? My next period is due on 7th July according to the app I have, but I don't want to wait another 13 days to see if I miss my period.

Thanks

Cathy
