Painful Boob

I'm 22 weeks preg and I've woken up today to a super painful boob.
Its only one of them and it's so painful to touch. Even without touching it I can feel the pain.
It's behind and above the nipple.
Is this normal?

I'd say no, probably see your gp. Some soreness is normal in pregnancy but just one, in a specific place would be better to get it checked. I wouldn't leave it to get worse either.

Thanks for the advice. It almost feels like a lump but I’m not 100% on that. Will make appt to see gp. Thanks again

Could be due to milk and that that breast has produced more than the other one. My milk started leaking at around 22weeks and my boobs were sore all the way upto about 25 weeks+
