Im 17 weeks and have been feeing what I would describe as gentle kicks from inside. I don't know if they are kicks or just muscle spasms/twitches which is the closest thing I can describe them to.

I felt it today on the right side of my tummy midway between belly button and bottom of belly.

Am I getting ahead of myself?

I know what you mean. I'm 20 weeks and I've felt something similar for a week or so now. Nothing obvious enough to say "I've felt the baby!" but also regular enough not to be sure.

I felt my first kick at 16 weeks (first pregnancy) and he didn’t stop from there 😂

That's exactly how I'd describe my first feelings of baby moving. At 16 weeks, i felt a rolling feeling once. It then felt like twitching/spasms around 17 weeks. I'm now 21 weeks and feels a lot more like bubbles and the odd strong nudge.

Congrats on the movements, enjoy Grin

Think I was around 15-16 weeks. Was laying in the bath and could swear I felt a proper kick but then talked myself out of it thinking it was too early. Looking back now it was definitely a kick! Felt like bubbles/rolling since then until around 18-19 weeks when I started to feel him really kicking me. 19+ weeks if I lay down on the sofa I can actually see my belly jolt when he kicks Smile (Currently 22 weeks)

17 weeks I felt her roll over, so quite a big movement. Then strong kicks from 18 weeks, I never really got the flutters that other people get.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 25/06/2018 12:13

With first pregnancy I was 15 weeks when I felt definite kicks.
I was about 18 weeks with second and third and about 19 weeks with fourth but had felt flutters from about 15 weeks.

23 weeks with first (anterior placenta) 14 weeks with second (posterior placenta), sonographer confirmed it could be that early as baby was close to the skin. Placenta position makes a huge difference.

18 weeks the first, 16 the second. I wasn't sure the first time but they became stronger version of what I'd been feeling then I knew.
