Light bleed, advice?

I am 5wks today. Was a bit of a surprise as we've been trying for about 2yrs. Already have one DS (3).

I've just been to the bathroom and have had a light bleed. Not noticed until I wiped. Feel fine in myself otherwise, no cramps.

Is this normal? Never had any bleeds when pregnant with my first.
DH is worried and thinks I should see the doctor. I think I should give it until this afternoon after work before I call. Mainly to see if it gets any worse, or any more.

Any advice?

@sendcoffee it could be implantation bleed but I understand the need for reassurance as this happened to me. I would monitor and if you have any further bleeding as the day progresses ring the GP or your local EPU. I had to be referred by my GP but I was seen straight away at the EPU and monitored for nearly 4 weeks including blood tests and scans.

Happened to me too but as it was an IVF pregnancy they saw me at the fertility clinic. They just did a blood test (to check I was still pregnant) and gave me a hug!!

Baby is now a strapping 10 month old who’s currently chewing a book and shouting, by the way. Smile

@purplesmiler that's what I was thinking. I'm keeping an eye out.
Not helped by having a very physical job, but I'm also trying to take it easy just in case!
