Bleeding only when going to the toilet?

Has anybody else in early pregnancy experienced period like bleeding but only when they used the toilet? I've been bleeding since yesterday and when I go to the toilet it is the same amount of blood as if I was on my period but nothing any other time. I woke up this morning to a clean pad but went straight to the toilet and there it was. So confused !!

Get in touch with your local early pregnancy unit, the number will be in your maternity notes. Just for your own peace of mind. I had bleeding around 7 weeks, it's worrying but he's asleep in my arms as I type! I'm sure all will be ok, just go and get yourself checked over xx

How far along are you? Is it just when you wipe? Its possible its implantation bleeding... I had that but it wasnt as heavy as a period, but then I do have very heavy periods... it was just when I wiped after using the toilet.
Try not to worry just give your midwife a ring if its just a tiny amount of blood. If it becomes very heavy and you have pain then ring the early pregnancy number on your notes to go in and get checked out.

I'm waiting to hear back from bloods from them but just so worried. It's like a stream when I wee but after that nothing else I've been out and about all day and knickers were dry but as soon as I go to the toilet it happens when I wipe and in the toilet bowl. It's so strange! Xx

I had this. It was only a bit (not as much as a period) when I wiped for a day here and there at 10, 14, 17 and 20 weeks.

I went to the MAU each time and got checked out. Had scans every time. Had my cervix examined to make sure it was still closed - it was. Never found a cause for it at all.

I'm now 29 weeks and touch wood having a healthy pregnancy. I never had any bleeding at all with my first baby.

Go to the MAU. I know it's scary but any bleeding needs looking into.

Could it be a urine infection?

I'm not sure ☹️ the doctor found cervical erosion the other day but I'm doubting that would make me bleed this much....

I had bleeding from week 6 to week 8/9... not as much as your describing... went to early pregnancy unit where they scanned me and told me I had a haematoma...and by week 8/9 they scanned again and the haematoma had gone..
