So I've just left the hospital as I have to have daily ctg monitoring due to reduced movements and this is until next Thursday where they will discuss sweep ect but as I feel now and was shown on the monitor while there my braxton hicks/ tightenings had the exact same amount of space between each one ( so time if you like) and all the midwife said was are you feeling the tightenings and I said yes and nothing else was said? I was always lead to believe braxton hicks shouldn't be perfectly timed apart and should be irregular ? They arnt / wasent painful but had the very tight sensation to them and cramps ? So is this okay I'm guessing as midwife didn't say anything when she looked over the ctg report ?

If the midwife didn't say anything then I'm sure it's fine but if you are worried, call the triage number and ask. They'll be happy to help and put your mind at rest

It happened to me close to my due date and I got all excited thinking maybe I’d go into labour and meet my baby, but no such luck.

If the midwife wasn’t worried I don’t think you need to be either.
