So I have just found out I'm pregnant (5 weeks yesterday) and while we were surprised, it is a happy accident!

I'm already feeling totally overwhelmed with everything so thought I'd ask a few questions in one.

I'm vegetarian - Is there anything I need to be extra mindful of when eating veggie and pregnant? I'm going to assume iron perhaps?

I have severe anxiety and used to take beta blockers for this but my GP has said they could cause problems so I've stopped them as of today. Does anyone have any advice or more natural remedies for anxiety?

Finally - I run a business with a handful of employees. We have already had a big shakeup recently with my business partner leaving and now I'm worried they're going to notice I'm pregnant. I want to keep it to myself for now until I work out how to handle being pregnant and running the business. Any advice for hiding that I am extremely tired and morning sickness? Blush

I know it's a lot of questions but I don't really have anyone to talk to about it all other than my DH, so feeling a bit isolated at the moment.

Thanks!

Congratulations!
I’m veggie too and haven’t had many issues, just remember to give all veggies and fruit a quick wash before using them (if you don’t already).
You could take a pregnancy vitamin which includes your vitamin Bs and iron however I did this and still ended up slightly deficient - they do your iron test at 28 wk appointment. So I’m now taking iron supplements on prescription but it’s not unusual and I know lots of women have slight deficiencies at this point - veggie or not.
