What could be going on?!

Hi, DH and I have been TTC for a few months now. My af is usually fairly regular but this month it arrived 10 days late, and when it did arrive it only lasted for 1 day and I only needed to use 1 tampon. For a couple of days after that I had very very faint evidence of blood when wiping after peeing- sorry TMI! It's now 6 days after the "period" arrived and my nipples are still very tender which is unusual for me. I just did a clear blue test and it came back negative. Would anyone be able to tell me what is going on!?

Maybe do another test in a week or so. Could you get a doctors appointment and they can do your bloods x

I agree, leave it a few more days / week and test again. It’s possible that it was implantation bleed?
However it is also possible that you didn’t ovulate this month or you ovulated late - hence the late period.

It’s so frustrating not knowing where you stand! Hopefully either way you’ll get your answer soon and best of luck with the ttc

It’s frustrating not knowing isn’t it. I’d advise doing another test in one week, make sure you do it first thing in the morning as it is more accurate. Fingers crossed for you

I had light periods (or bleeds) when pg with one of my DCs, just as you describe.

Thanks ladies. I really don't know about implantation bleeding as I didn't pay much attention to the colour of the blood when AF arrived as I really did think it was just AF, but then when I removed the second tampon and there was no blood on it I was like...!

I noticed yesterday and this morning that two cold sores have tried to come up and I usually only get them just before my period and yet I'm not run down at all, sleeping more than usual in fact, so it seems if I'm not pregnant something is up!
