Dispirin

My midwife advised taking aspirin after twelve weeks because my mum had pre-eclampsia and they’re worried I will, too. I managed to get some over enough counter but ran out and a lot of pharmacists won’t give you it without a prescription. I’ve picked up dispirin from boots - is that playboy to take? Am currently 21 weeks.

You need to check the dose. I believe Dispirin is 300mg which is way too much. You want a 75mg aspirin tablet to take every day. In my Boots you can get the soluble ones over the counter but there are also stomach-friendly ones in the normal pain relief aisle. They are a bit more expensive, but I actually prefer them and there's no problem with pharmacists refusing to sell etc.
