40+1. So ready for him to come out! I have an appointment with the midwife on Thursday and I’m hoping she can have a poke about to get him going. He seems very comfy in there!

Best of luck MrsHand!
How did your c section go, Allegorical?
And congratulations Dobby.
No change here: 40 + 4. The midwife tried a sweep yesterday but all firmly shut. He is going to be a July baby I think.....

How is everyone? No change here: 41 weeks tomorrow. It still doesn’t feel like it is imminent. Next appointment isn’t until next Saturday!

Hi Mumtobe, I’m glad someone else is in the same boat! I’m having a boy - looks like a rather large one. Last time, it was a tiny early girl; this time a largish late boy. Just goes to show that each pregnancy is different. I hope you are comfortable in the heat.

Hi both! I'm up to 40+5 and was so excited to wake up at 5am with contractions, they weren't excruciating but we're coming once every 9 or 10 mins and lasting at least 30 seconds. But then got less regular and I came for a lie down as I'm shattered and have hardly had any since about 1pm now.
Talk about a tease! Mucus plug came out yesterday so was convinced today was the day. Feels like as it got hotter and hotter the baby went 'nope!' I'm just hoping things start again later when I get up and moving again?!

Aww hope you have your baby boy soon! Yeah the heats a bit much. What are you doing to keep yourself busy?

Hi eggoispreggo! How are you doing any more contractions? Sounds promising :)

spacefem.com/pregnant/due.php?use=EDD&m=06&d=25&y=18 this website is helping me stay positive the more I go over due thought you girls might be interested. Percentage chance of when most likely to go into labour. Obvs taken with a pinch of salt but is based on most people coming between ten days before or after due date. :)

Hi @Mumtobeluc that website is interesting, I'm starting to believe this baby will never be born to be honest lol.
Had more contractions last night but nothing regular so spoke to midwife who said eat some dinner, take some paracetamol, try to sleep. So went to bed and slept in like 45 minute intervals between contractions until 8 this morning.
Back in the lounge sat on this bloody yoga ball, having irregular contractions. Bloody show this morning though so keeping the dream alive!!

Interesting website, Mumtobe. I confess I was googling the longest pregnancy ever earlier: 100 days overdue! At least the NHS won’t let us go that long. How are the contractions, Eggo? Hang on in there.

Hey how are you both doing this evening? I just had a show and having really painful period cramps. Hope things are getting there for you eggoispreggo!

Haha! I did that too camparisun know how you feel. Until my waters break or I see a head between my legs I'm not even convinced I'm having a baby anytime soon anymore.

Can you take some paracetemol, Mumtobe? Hopefully that will help with the cramps....

I’m fine, thanks. Absolutely no change. This baby will need to be induced, I’m sure of it!

No.change here. Sweep booked for Tuesday.
He seems to have disengaged too and gone higher up again. I'm sure he's settling in for the long haul

Can I join? I’m due 8 July so 39 weeks today and feeling v impatient - anyone else just so frustrated with waiting?? I feel so useless - can’t move around much and constantly in some sort of discomfort. Any good box sets anyone would recommend?

We just found out at a growth scan last week baby was breech (after they told me it was head down at four midwife apptmts 🙄) so I’m going to see a consultant this wk to discuss options. I’ve been telling people I feel like I’ll be early and kicking myself now as it seems like baby is going to be stuck in there forever... I don’t mind / care how it comes out now, just want it to be over!!

Hi all, starting to get really miserable, lots of irregular contractions, some over a minute long and enough to make me go pale/feel sick.
I've stopped bothering to time them for now as they aren't getting anywhere and think it was stressing me out.
I just feel very helpless because the MLU won't want to know unless the contractions are closer together, not just stronger.
Weird limbo that I didn't really know existed to be honest, I hadn't considered that I'd be 'sort of' in labour for days. Am worried I won't actually cope when the time comes because I've put so much energy into these few days.
Partner doesn't know what to do about work tomorrow, should I get him to stay home with me and start his paternity leave even though the baby isn't here yet? Or shall we assume tomorrow will be like today and yesterday and that he's safe to go to work?

Eggoispreggo- feeling your worry. Maybe let him go in? Can he get back quickly?
It's so frustrating. I had strong contractions a week ago that went no where and now nothing !
Hopefully your labour will start properly soon

Hold in there eggoispreggo

In same boat they think baby will come within 24 hours.

Wish I could sleep through the contractions.

Getting really nervous

Morning ladies and wellcome Aquarius.

Eggo, I’d send him in so that he can preserve his pat leave for when the baby is here but have him near his phone. Can someone else (mum/friend) pop in?

Mumtobe/Spangly/Aquarius, I hope you are all as comfortable as possible. Still nothing happening here at all - 41 +1!
