If you are definitely 5dpo then how come you have started checking your cervix now? Curious what you are hoping it will tell you at this point?
Have you ever felt your cervix before, or is this your first time looking for it?
Mine feels like a firm err... lump at the top of my vagina. It's more or less round and you can run a finger around it. It has a dimple in the middle where the opening is. Although not all women have this unless cervix is fertile (high, open) it varies woman to woman/can depend on if you have had babies. It is quite firm (like pressing on your chin) mostly but obviously when fertile it's softer (like pressing pursed lips). If you are 5dpo you should find cervix is low (although obviously low and high vary from woman to woman - some women can't find cervix at all when it moves up) firm and, if you run a finger around it you shouldn't find any fertile cervical fluid. Although if you have never found it before you won't have a frame of reference on the low/high firm/soft so it will be difficult to determine much.

@WhirlingTurkey thank you for explaining it abit more clearer I understand it abit more! And I've just realised you could actually check your own cervix! I have had a baby 2 years ago so maybe that's why I cannot find anything but I will continue to keep searching for the next couple of months so I can properly determine where it is!
