So, following being told infertile And 10 years unprotected/not really trying I’m 6 weeks.

I’m awake after feeling sick for the last 2 weeks Shock and it’s getting worse.

So happy but i has no idea it was this terrible.

Congratulations on your pregnancy Flowers

I am currently 8 weeks. Nausea started at 4+5. Severe nausea and vomiting started at around 6 weeks (now diagnosed as Hyperemesis) I became very dehydrated and lost about 5lbs in a week before speaking to my Dr and starting medication. Please don’t suffer at home but speak to your GP (and if they aren’t supportive ask to see someone else) luckily my GP’s wife suffered from Hyperemesis so he completely understands. Before I got pregnant I would have never of imagined it could be this bad! If one more person tells me to try ginger I think I may scream!!

Thanks so much, and congratulations too!

I’ve had 3 hours sleep, no vomit but I am churning Envy - not envy

8 weeks also and feel your pain.
With my other two it stopped around 11 weeks, not that long to go!

28 years since l first had it and still feel sympathy for anyone going through it. Rest as much as possible. It is truly awful.

Many congrats OP, what wonderful news.

Yes it will get better, nausea is the most awful feeling it’s debilitating I know, peppermint tea and nibbling on ginger biscuits and honeydew melon helped me.

I hope the sickness goes off soon.

I’m only 25 weeks but morning sickness fees like a distant memory. I remember crying at night saying I couldn’t wake up the next morning to feel the same way all over again. Ugh the first trimester is grim. Mine lasted until around 16 weeks but it did reduce in how horrid it was. Full sugar coke helped me.
