Hello! FTM here and currently 22 weeks pregnant and haven't felt movement yet (watched it jumping around on screen at scans but nothing felt). I carry a bit of extra weight around my belly so I'm wondering if it's the extra layers WinkI'm just curious when others first felt baby move in first pregnancy!

23 weeks in first pregnancy, anterior placenta though.

I'm 28 wks now and I think I first felt it the week of my anomaly scan, so 20 weeks (also a FTM). It wasn't jabs or pokes or thumps or anything though. It was what I described as a swooshing or rolling feeling to begin with. Didn't feel sharper movements until about wk 24/25.

I’m a size 16 - 18 and 22 weeks tomorrow with my first. Have been feeling definite movement for most of this week to the extent that my partner can feel it too. Completely bizarre but hopefully you feel something soon!

I was exactly the same in my first pregnancy. Early movement is a bit like v. gentle wind sort of like a little bubble popping in your tummy. I honestly thought it was wind until I was about 25 weeks and I realised it had become a stronger sensation and then it started to feel more like movement and I realised I had been feeling dd move for a while just hadn't realised it Smile
