Induction today

I am currently in the process of an induction. Had the propess at 10.45 and have to wait 24 hours. They won't let it go on too long though as I have had a previous caesarean and they are wary of my scar. I am now feeling very light pain in my tummy and pains in my bum which i got last time almost straight away but they didn't actually lead anywhere apart from unbelievable pain which ended in me demanding pethadin and a epidural. After all that I only got to 3cms and it was as an emergency c section anyway due to a stressed baby. I am hoping it's different this time as I really want to have a natural birth.
Is anyone else in a similar position to me?
Thanks

Hi, I was induced this week!
Had pessary at 4.30 Monday morning, removed 24 hours later and they broke my waters at 19.35 Tuesday evening.
I was really worried about contractions not starting naturally and having to have the drip.... they did start naturally and came on very quick and intense. Baby boy was born 21.49 Tuesday evening.
Fingers crossed it goes well for you.... I’ve been told if it’s not your first baby your body remembers and makes the process easier.
Good luck!!! Xx
