Hi. I've just had an early scan at the EPU due to some bleeding and spotting but they couldn't see anything?! They said they could see some thickening of the uterus and a few tiny tiny dots which could be something but can't say for sure. She's taken my bloods and taking them again in 48 hours to see if they double. Has anyone else had this and what was the outcome? Hate been in limbo!

I had this and am now 38 weeks pregnant; it was just too early to see anything but when I had a repeat scan 2 weeks later they saw a heart beat.

I had some bleeding and thought I was around 6 weeks pregnant, 1st scan showed nothing so had blood tests. Levels continued to rise as i was tested over a week.
I had another scan about 10 days later which showed a sac and a yolk. I was dated 5 weeks 4 at that point.

Went back 2 weeks later and saw a heartbeat to our amazement. My cycle must have been longer which it was prone to being now and again. We are still anxious I'm now 7+6 and been discharged from the EPU.

I have had a MC previously so understand how you feel. We are just taking it one day at a time.

After my pregnancy of unknown location a week after my initial scan. Had blood tests doing what they did.

Yesterday I saw my embryo. Sac with yolk and a fetal pole. They have dated me around 5 weeks (although have said its so small still hard to date me exactly!).

This was a whole week and a half less than I thought.

They said to me that the bloods where important. So sounds like you are going in the right direction also Smile good luck!!
