I'm 13 weeks + 7 with my first so a bit further along but I will gladly hold hands anyway! Also been feeling a bit overwhelmed and mixed emotions to the point where a couple of days before the 12 week scan I was thinking "What if I'm not even pregnant and it was all a mistake??" Have you had any symptoms? I can't shake the nausea and lack of appetite!

I found out today that I'm pregnant with our first. DH is super excited. I am too, but also feeling a bit overwhelmed. It was our first month TTC and I'd been told previously it could take me a long time to conceive, due to irregular period, short luteal phase and long cycles. So it's much wanted but also a bit of a surprise!!

Feeling very nauseous and don't want to eat anything at all really already. Definitely up for hand holding with others. It's nice to chat about it as it's such early days only DH knows!

Congrats all!

Summer how are you feeling now? I've just had a bit of heartburn and some mild nausea in the evenings (I think it's to do with having to eat little and often). Have you told anyone in real life? How did they react?

Toast if you're killed with nausea then eating little and often is the way to go! (and drink as much water as you can, and ginger tea if you can stomach). With dc1 I only had 2 weeks of nausea, but with dc2 it was severe for 16 weeks (never hospitalised or anything like that). But evening being around food, cooking for others etc was torture!! Chat away to us here, it's such an exciting and scary time, especially when it's your first.
