So.. I keep reading everyone’s threads about labour and how quick/slow it all is.. but I’m getting a bit freaked!

With my first I started contractions at about 2.30am and went straight to hospital.. after being in absolute agony (he was back to back) .. stuck at 3cm dilated & 7 hour wait for an epidural (only 1 anethiest in the whole hospital) I was finally able to breathe.

However as I was then completely numb and loving life from that moment on I don’t actually recall much of the actual labour?

I know they broke my waters for me.. and pushing wise it only took 47mins.. does this mean I had a quick labour? Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense! It felt like the longest day ever!!

I’m 29 weeks with my second and I’m just really freaking out about labour and how different it may be to the first 🙈

Every labour is different! Your next one could very well be amazingly pleasant as far as labours go!
Don't read into horror stories. I was told every horror story going and ended up a nervous wreck... until I stopped caring and decided I would just do it on the day 😂

So just don't freak out it will be different it's scary and unknown but just get through it when the day comes. These things can't be predicted which of course can be scary
