So had spotting on and off throughout this pregnancy had none for 6 weeks today at 18 week +3 bright red blood when I wiped. I was terrified it seems so far as if it was a one off again touch wood. I shot straight up to the midwife listened to his heartbeat that's fine, thank god🤞🏻 I can feel him moving which also puts my mind at ease but has anyone else gone through this? It's even more annoying because I haven't a clue what's causing it

I had several bouts of bleeding with my second pregnancy. So scary. It was put down to cells on the cervix from the inside of the uterus, called ' cervical ectropian' I think. Everything was fine, the baby was healthy and a good size but I did have quite a few trios to hospital while pregnant because each new episode could have been something else. Sorry to hear about your experience glad everything turned out ok. Midwife did ask about my cervix but they didn't say much last time they examined me around 7 weeks. My 1st pregnancy was nothing like this I've been the exact same back and forth to the hospital, I think I must have been there most weeks in the first trimester. Thankyou
