Hi all- just wondering what you think
I'm 19+2 and I know it's not a thing for movements to be reduced before 20weeks but just wondering what is normal and not
Haven't felt any movement all day, have fried fizzy pop etc. I realise there's still lots of room and also that the day isn't over. But wondering.. if/when do I panic?

Hi there, i turn 19weeks tomo & have found some days i get lots of movement & other days none. Im not panicking as have read this is normal at this stage - i hope!

I think the general advice is that you won't feel a regular pattern until 24 weeks. Especially if you have an anterior placenta. A lot of trusts (maybe all?) won't monitor you until 28 weeks. Obviously, if you're really worried, call your midwife/ unit, but I would try not to stress too much.

I wouldn't worry. I know that my hospital would not have seen you prior to about 25-28 weeks for reduced movements because movements are going to naturally vary. A whole heap of people won't have felt movement at all by 19 weeks and even those who do are fairly unlikely to be feeling it every day. I felt baby clearly by 16 weeks in my second pregnancy but I was well over 20 weeks before I felt movement every day.

Thanks everyone. Was just panicking as for probably the last two weeks I've felt movement and then nothing and I'm on holiday so I can't just pop down anywhere to see someone. I did think the same as what you've all said just was a niggle in the back of my mind. X
