Hey ladies! I found out a couple of days ago I'm pregnant! Woohoo! This will be my third and my husbands first! We have been trying for nearly a year and I feel like a complete paranoid mess!
I have a constant dull ache in my lower abdomen and back with achey legs too is this normal? I didn't have many early symptoms with my first two girls. There's a 7year gap between my youngest and bump, I feel like I've started again!
Has anyone else had a big gap between babies and if so did age etc seem to make a difference to how your pregnancy went? Xx

7 year gap!!!

I see your 7 and raise you 14!!

I’m 9 weeks just now, honestly can’t remember much about my first pregnancy.

Congratulations!

Honeybee79 · 21/06/2018 15:35

I have 6 years between my first two and there will be 8 between first and 3rd.

Congratulations!

My friend just gave birth to her second. Her first is 16.
My DCs1 and 2 have 8 years between them.
I don’t quite understand the fascination/obsession with age gaps. It is what it is and what it is is a blessing, so congrats! Flowers

10 years between DC1 and DC2 same husband.

Thanks ladies!! I'm super excited, I think I'm more mentally prepared to be a mum again this time then I was with my girls! But I just feel like I've forgotten everything lol!! Xx

It soon comes back. We tried so long for DS2 that we'd almost given up hope. I think the biggest difference was in us as parents. We were much calmer. You also appreciate that things that seemed so insignificant first time round because you know how quickly they grow up and change.

There are 18 year between my Dad and his sister. And actually my partner is 29 and his Mum had a baby last year. Meaning my recently born Daughter has a 10 month old Uncle 😂

Baubletrouble43 · 21/06/2018 16:58

18 year gap here. Pregnancy at 41 was more tiring compared to at 23 but I think that's because it was twins! A big age gap is fab x

We have a 7 year gap between our two. Oldest is DD, she's 25 now and dotes on her younger DB. They are very close and love doing stuff together, although she gets a bit miffed when they are mistaken for boyfriend and girlfriend.

emelsie · 21/06/2018 17:24

Pregnant now and my first DD will be 10 when the second arrives , seems so strange doing it all again after such a long gap, but have the excitement I had with the first which is nice ! Have noticed all the midwifes have made assumptions this baby must be with a different partner though Grinit's not we just waited a long time !

My sister is 10 years older than me and my brother is 8 years older.

My mum says it’s like I was an only child in many respects because by the time I was getting interesting, my siblings had their own lives.

I’m fairly close to them though, so I don’t think there’s anything negative to be said (apart from the fact I’ll always be their BABY sister even now I’m pregnant myself!)

I have two step sons. Who are 13 and 15 and they are so excited about there brother our sister arriving in December they said to us its the best Christmas present ever
