Thinking of going to New York with my 12 years old dd.

Has anyone done it ? I have never been to America ? Never been abroad alone really, let alone with a child. I'm looking at options as Dh and my other dd are not keen on going.

A bit different but I went with my 6 month old!
New York is amazing and lots to see and do for kids! You should go for it!

I went with my Mum at this kind of age and we had an amazing time together! I still think of that holiday now!

She was a single parent and we had a lot of holidays together just the two of us, and they were all really special.

I took my boys when they were 8 and 10, stayed in an air bnb in Astoria and just got the N train into the city.. they loved it, especially the zoo in Central Park and Toys R Us in Times Square (will that still be there?)

I went with my dad about that age and we had a great time.

I went with my mum over Feb half term when I was 14. We had the best time and it started my life long love affair with the USA.

What's this got to do with pregnancy?

I took my children (including 2 teens) this year, was a great place to visit!
