Hello

Does anyone else here have asthma? I’m only 6 weeks but have found that my asthma has worsened during pregnancy. I’m going to phone the asthma nurse tomorrow but I think I’ve used the blue inhaler too much and am worried about the effect it’s going to have

Not yet... as I’m still early.

But usually I don’t use an inhaler at all, and hadn’t done for years until I was pregnant with my sons. Both times I had to get an inhaler from my gp and carry it with me.

I suffered both times early on in pregnancy- to the point I was on higher strength steroid inhalers, steroid tablets and lots of ventolin... It was fine, did baby no harm whatsoever.
My dr said it was more important that I could breathe....

It did settle down by the time I got to 12 weeks...

Try not to worry, and hope you feel better soon x
