I feel so sick

Unless I'm asleep I feel sick. It's got worse as the days have passed and now by mid-afternoon I can think of nothing but how sick I feel. I feel sick if I eat, I feel sick if I don't eat, I feel sick whilst I'm eating.

This is DC2. I didn't feel this bad with DC1.

Thing is, I've only been sick once, so I feel like I'm moaning for nothing but I just feel so awful, like really actually ill.

Does anything ease the nausea?

It's so horrible feeling sick all the time - you have my sympathy. I also felt sick 24/7 without really vomiting, and the only thing that helped a bit was an app called Nevasic. It plays weird music that's meant to rebalance your brain (or something...) and stop you feeling nauseous. It didn't take the feeling away completely for me, but it did ease it a bit.

Hope you feel better soon Thanks

In the same boat here, OP. It's horrible. I'm eating lots of carb heavy bland foods, drinking plenty of water and always got ginger biscuits on me. I was advised for extreme cases doctors can prescribed anti sickness, so if I gets unbearable this may be something to discuss with gp/midwife for more info. Here's to us and getting through this

I made ginger cake, that helped a bit.

What are you eating?

I found hot food made me feel worse, so I tried to stick to cold, bland foods. It did really help.

Sandwiches were a godsend!

Stephisaur I seem to be the other way around - cold food is making me heave so I'm on hot carb heavy stuff. Except tea, cups of tea make me actually sick. And I can keep down chocolate mousse and milkshake. Bout anything I eat is only in really small quantities as too much and I feel worse!

I'm exactly the same with DC2, had sickness with DS but nothing like this!

I have no advice sadly but just wanted to let you know that you're certainly not alone! Thanks
