Collapse, mild headaches and trace of protein in urine= panic?

Hi all, just got back from the doctors where they found a trace of protein in my urine. Wouldn't be worried about it on its own but had a collapse on sunday (blackness and passed out) BP was low then, at one point something or other over 58. Today BP was 136 / 88 orpossibly 136 / 86, I can't remember exactly. Is that high? I've also been having mild headaches, but nothing terrible, since saturday - certainly nothing I would worry about on its own either.
So....does this equal panic stations and pre-eclampsia worries? I'm only 18 weeks pg. Dr took blood and I'm going to see her again tomorrow morning. Do I sleep inbetween is the question?

depends what your booking blood pressure was - 136/86 isn't high in itself but if you started at 100/60 then it is iyswim. The faint on sunday sounds "ok" in that you are 2nd trimester and it can be usual to drop your bp then (and if it goes low enough you will faint).

Good that GP taken bloods, good that she is seeing you again tomorrow.

Not panic stations but sensible to have had advice and being looked after.

Thanks kateyp, I normally have quite high BP which is why I was shocked when it went so low on sunday.
She seemed really clued in, which makes me feel better. She also listened to the baby's heartbeat which sounded fine.
Fingers crossed.

don;t panic yet

the fainting might be unrelated and as Katey has said BP needs to relate to your other readings

take it easy, and try not to think the worst x

Thank you lulumama, I'm trying not to worry. I thought this would get easier with 2nd pg!

18 weeks is very very early to get pre-eclamptic symptoms. Think 24 weeks is normally about the earliest. Don't panic. As general rule health professionals start to worry when bp is 140/90, but if yours is generally a bit high again probably nothing to worry about at all. Likewise trace of protein in urine. I spent three weeks in hospital with pre-eclampsia and they considered trace basically as no protein. GP sounds very on the ball taking bloods etc, always good to be cautious.

Don't worry and go to sleep!

Oh just noticed your second pregnancy, if no pre-eclampsia in first pregnancy then extremely unlikely!

I got PE symptoms at 21 weeks so it's unlikely but possible. But this is GREAT - it means you will get monitored and you can treat the problem and stop it getting worse.

Yeah I know, hard to be chipper about such things but much worse that you don't know and go on to have a fit!

Oops, sorry fearscape and wmmc- I had a long bath and slept against the odds so missed your messages!
Thank you, I'm very much hoping when I go back today, that all will be down again, but hopefully they'll still monitor. Cross your fngers!
