I think I've just had a miscarriage.
(Btw i'm already 27).
I haven't gone to the doctor or Ob after my boyfriend and I finally confirmed that I'm pregnant through a pregnancy test, we found out last June 17, 2018. My LMP was April 2 so i think i was already 10-11 weeks pregnant.
On June 18 i had some errands the whole day and was walking around the whole time. I had some light spotting at night that time and a bit of light cramps. Which i thought was normal, I've read some post and articles in google.
Then at June 19 i was home the whole day did nothing really but still had light spotting.
Then at 1am on June 20, when i woke up from a nap my boyfriend saw that I was bleeding quite a bit more so he told me to change my liner, i did. Then i felt abdominal and back cramps. It hurt really bad. Then i felt that the liner i had was not enough and it soaked thru my underwear so i had to use a pad. I changed and I had very bad cramps which i thought was weird because it felt like I had gotten my period, but a bit worse.
Then when i went back to our room I was really uncomfortable with the pain I opted to sit down and let the bleeding just go and flow out, it really felt like heavy menstruation where you could feel some blood clots coming out. Then i suddenly felt something whole and big or clumpy came out and that's when my boyfriend and i rushed to the bathroom because i felt that it was our baby. When i got to the bathroom i think it was the placenta, like a pale pinkish brainy or veiny but soaked in blood matter which was the first to come out. Then i tried to pull it out of course then dropped the rest which was blood and when i touched it it was a smooth intact fetal sac. We both didn't bear what happened and really can't look at our baby that long. The inside was not clear, im not sure if it's normal but it was kind of bloody the inside of the fetal sac, we didn't see if our baby has formed.
We both realized what just happened and we're very sad. We lost our baby. It feels like a bad dream.

My question is, was that a complete and natural miscarriage i just had? The placenta and fetal sac did not separate or anything and i feel that i don't think anything is left inside, some blood clots coming out and my bleeding is like a heavy period. Some cramps but not that bad now. No abdominal or back pain anymore.

Any advice? Should i still go to the doctor or Ob? My friends say i need to go in case some placenta or idk if uterine lining, may be left inside, they say it needs to be removed. I think i don't need to since i felt everything came out. But do you think I should go to an Ob? do you think i need to undergo D&C?

Your responses will be appreciated.Smile

I’m sorry ☹️

You should get checked out, you definitely don’t want any retained product left unchecked, even the smallest bit could lead to infection.
They’ll scan you to see if you need any intervention.

I’m so sorry, I know how shocking that experience is. Take care of yourself, let yourself grieve and don’t be afraid to talk about it. You should definitely get in touch with your doctor, they will probably examine you. You’ll bleed for a while afterwards most likely ( well I did) and you’ll probably be advised to take a pregnancy test in a weeks time, if it’s negative it’s probably a complete miscarriage.
