any good tips for reducing swelling in hands and feet...especially when stuck at desk in hot office?

I work part time, I'm 32 weeks, and I've noticed that the 3 days I'm in the office my feet and hands are much much more swollen than when running around after ds1 (3.3). It's really hot in here as well and just so uncomfortable. Feel like sticking hands and feet in big bucket of ice, or very cold white wine - but failing that - any suggestions?!

I'd suggest ice lollies, lots of water and trying to elevate your feet. Probably something to do with having to sit still and all the fluid pooling. Try and walk about a bit too and see if that helps it. Ooh, good excuse for ice cream too...

I sympathise. I don't have swollen feet or hands but I am suffering in this horrible unventilated office.

Sometimes I feel like I should get a medal for just coming to the office - I am counting the weeks till I leave (and don't intend returning afterwards).

Am 26 weeks and work full time.

OK, off for an ice cream now...

rubbish isn't it? In my last pregnancy, I worked in an unventilated office that rose to 35 degrees. When I pointed out to the Health and Safety officer it was actually illegal to make anyone let alone a pregnant woman work in that kind of heat, she said 'pull yourself together, it's only a baby!'.
