Period was due on Saturday

Period was due on Saturday I’ve had period symptoms since Thursday. On Monday they got worse my ovaries are killing me and I’ve not stopped farting. When can I do a test getting slightly worried.

You can do a test now as you are late on your period.

Now.

First thing in the morning wee is more sensitive.

What do you mea your ovaries are killing you? That is a worrying symptom.

I'd definitely recommend taking a test.. I had period symptoms the week before I was due on (sore boobs, cramps etc). I was about 5 days late and my friend told me to take a test but I was adamant that I was going to come on my period as I'd had quite severe cramping that morning to the point where I had to take paracetamol (I'm usually ok with pain). Took at test at around lunchtime the same day and it came up positive clear as day! Turns out the cramps were just the embryo 'settling in'.

Was negative such a relief did a clear blue one

OP I'm in exactly the same position but was due Fri. Even did exactly the same clear blue test on Sat eve! Still no sign of AF except for cramps and boob soreness. I have NEVER had a late period so as more time elapses I think there's every chance that I am. Perhaps I tested too early and not at the best time of the day. I must admit I'd spent the afternoon in the pub with a couple of pints before testing. I'm almost nervous to test again but will obviously need too if no AF by Sat. Bricking it....

Me to I’ve just started a new job and have got a mortgage with my partner and baby would be a terrible idea right now. But I’ve got endometriosis so conceiving is harder have been told to start sooner rather than later. If I am pregnant I don’t no what do to would feel terrible in years to come if I couldn’t conceive naturally. But now I’m just starting in a career that I love.

Test is now saying positive think I left it two long have got another one to do tomorrow morning

False negatives are far more common than false positives... I'd do another to be sure. First wee of the day first thing in the morning should be the most reliable!
