18 weeks period pains can barely stand

I have a history of bleeding. In fact ive done nothing but bleed for the last 4 weeks. Today bleeding has stopped but now I am in quite nasty pain barely able to stand straight with stomach cramps very much like period pain. Is this normal? Maybe everything stretching? Ive been up to hospital a few times for bleeds being heavy etc so trying not to phone up if i can help it. Please reassure me. Im sure its normal?!

I would always seek medical advice. You will not feel reassured any other way.

It doesn't sound normal I'm afraid, I'd seek medical advice if I was you. I did have some horrible muscular pain at times, things get pulled much easier during pregnancy.

Definitely phone them. I know I've had bad pains just from things stretching but absolutely phone the hospital, get the professionals view on things :-)

I feel like such a martyr but thank you i will do as advised. 😭 this is my 3rd pregnancy but ive forgotten all the aches and pains so needed to ask people with more recent experience. Thank you 😘

I would say that barely being able to stand isn't normal so would call the hospital and get yourself checked out.

Yes I am in hospital now and looks like I am being kept in overnight for observations. They found baby heartbeat so that was a relief. I started bleeding again at 2am but it is all settling down now again.

Glad things are ok so far. Fingers crossed nothing to worry about, at least you're in the best place

It sounds like you are in the right place for now put your feet up and rest
