I have 4w growth scans due to previous RMC. My 28w scan was the same as all my DD1 growth scans (she was 8lb 15.5 oz): head circumference 2w in front, abdominal circumference 2w in front, femur length showing correct GA.
The 34w growth scan showed the same amount of growth for the head and femur but abdominal circumference had jumped way ahead and was now showing 4w ahead. They estimated her weight to currently be 5.5lb which is crazy considering I’ve only gained 10lb. They’ve suggested I go on Tuesday to be shown how to check my sugars before and after eating but have said it could be that I just make big babies as this would put her at approx 9lb at 39w when my section is booked for.
Anyone else had a big reading on their growth scan and either turned out to have GD or just a big baby. Could it be anything else? Just after experiences really.
