Is labour close ?

38 weeks pregnant with random tightening last night with nausea and sickness. Woke up this morning and apart from a general feeling of being drained all seems to of gone quiet. Could labour be close or am I just wishful thinking ?

Sorry to sound useless but I don't think there is anyway of really knowing the answer to that to be honest. Some people go on like that for weeks before they actually go into labour and for others it happens that day or evening, unfortunately just a case of wait and see. Fingers crossed it happens soon for you though.
