Hello,

So to put it lightly, I'm having a "challenging" week. Especially for someone with anxiety Blush. If anyone has any advice on the following, it would be much appreciated. I have been told by my midwife to monitor but not worry.

I had, what I thought, was a gush of fluid on weekend - had cervix checked and a scan and all was OK. Swab came back no infection. They did, however, say that I had quite a lot of DC around my cervix.

Yesterday, I had a smallish hard but sticky ball of snot looking stuff come out in the toilet, was a bit worried but I did put a post on here and someone said because it was small, its nothing to worry about. Then, last night, it was as long as my finger, thick, and the same substance. - sticky and phlegmy. My midwife said it sounded like part of my mucus plug.

Instantly I thought the worse because it just comes with the anxious territory, but I'm now starting to positively think that because the Gynae has already said I had too much there on the weekend, that maybe some has just come away and it doesn't mean the worst?

Of course, as well, it could just be a thick mucus plug looking a bit of discharge.

Did anyone else experience this type of thing? I am only 17w pregnant.

Thank you

I should add there was no bleeding or pain associated.
