Is it possible to lose a bit of weight or tone up when pregnant?

I am nine weeks and will be bridesmaid when I am 14 weeks.
In both of my previous pregnancies I have been well into maternity wear by 14 weeks.

Have been to try my bridesmaid dress on this morning and have come away feeling like a big, fat munter because it barely fits me.

My boobs have exploded, my belly is bigger and i have put a bit of weight on thru munching my way through morning sickness.

What am I going to do>?

Ladies at the shop humming and hahing about expense and difficulty of letting the dress out at all.

It wouldn't be wise to try and lose weight right now. Perhaps yoga might be an idea?

TBH, you may just have to aplogise to your friend but your baby's health is more important than fitting into a dress - but you know that already.

What colour are the dresses and where are they from - could you get a similar one from ebay in a bigger size, thinking particularly of debenhams ones here...

I wouldn't be trying to lose weight, but you can definitely tone up (maybe not in such a short time, though). After my morning sickness (which wasn't bad, but still i was queasy and tired all the time) I started exercising a bit more again around 12 weeks. Now at 15.5 weeks, I feel like I've lost some weight, but I haven't gone to the scales. In any case, I've lost that bloated feeling for the moment. I expect it will be back any minute though!

Sorry to say, though, my boobs are still getting bigger. I don't think there's any reversing that at this point, though a non-pregnant friend of mine cut hers down two cup sizes by going off red meat and dairy products, plus some exercise.

The thing is, I have stopped exercising as I have had a few episodes of bleeding with this prgnancy

feel really down about this dress fitting for some reason
