Pregnancy superstition

Before becoming pregnant I was quite a rational person. Since going through losses and now having a continuing pregnancy, I've become quite superstitious. Won't let DH buy any parenting books until we've had our anomaly screen, and wanted to buy him a father's day gift but decided that was too risky Has anyone else gone through this, or am I just turning into a complete loon?

Yeah I had one loss, and couldn't really settle into this pregnancy or buy anything until after 20 weeks. I think once I could start feeling the kicks it became much more real and reassuring to feel them every day.
